Allen McGlynn is Vice-President, Government Affairs at Delegal/Aubuchon Consulting. For more than 33 years, Allen served as Counsel for the nation’s largest property and casualty insurance company. In that capacity, he was involved in the management of the company’s public policy agenda in roughly 20 states and developed substantial political and subject matter expertise at both the state and federal levels. Working within one of nation’s most highly regulated industries, he is well-known as an elite strategist and critical thinker when creating/customizing advocacy approaches to political, substantive, and public perception issues for his clients. He has a wealth of experience in assessing the appropriate resources necessary to effectively confront issues and developing tactical plans to efficiently deploy such resources at the appropriate times. Skilled in communications, he also provides curated reputational and brand management advice.

Allen is an adept coalition builder and problem solver with a proven track record of success in both the public policy and corporate arenas.

Allen is a member of the Illinois Bar, and the Illinois Bar Association. He and his wife, Kim, reside in Tallahassee and have twin children, Amelia and Duncan.

  • Allen received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, in 1988, majoring in Speech Communications and minoring in Mass Communications.
